The 1953 World Scout Jamorie was held in Niagara-on-theLake. It was held in the Commons (large field) beside the Fort George. The field is still empty. I was born & grew up in Niagara-on-the-Lake. I attended that Jmaorie as a visitor at the age of 9. I remember it well, there were 10,000 Scouts there. Your first picture shows the clock tower in the middle of the mains street. The hospital where I was born (Feb.9/06pic in my blog) is in the second blodk down from the tower on the right. Art
